Compacting and enrichment

By compacting the curriculum—omitting unnecessary repetition and practice material—time becomes available for cognitively strong learners to work on more challenging enrichment tasks.
In this way, we can adapt teaching within the regular classroom to better meet the needs of these students.

  • How do cognitively strong learners learn and think?
  • How can you connect these learning characteristics to the regular curriculum?
  • How can you provide differentiated instruction within the regular classroom?
  • What is curriculum compacting, and how can you implement it effectively?
  • What are the key qualities of effective enrichment materials?
  • What types of enrichment resources are available?

Rates

  • In-service training – 2 hours: €375 (incl. 21% VAT)

  • In-service training – 3 hours: €550 (incl. 21% VAT)

  • Travel reimbursement: €1.00/km
