My name is Liesbet. I am a physician and a pediatrician. I loved doing this, but then I had three wonderful, special, children who didn't seem to develop quite by the book. Looking for answers, I ended up at Hoogbloeier® where I took the course Expert in Gifted Education.

To start my practice I then took classes in psychology, school, and educational psychology. These different pieces of training, work experiences, and daily life as a mom of intense children allow a holistic view of each child in my practice.

I like to put all the puzzle pieces together with you as parents, the school, and the child itself, to come up with appropriate advice. A tailored approach to a child can do wonders for his or her development. In my experience, it is best not to wait too long for this. Toddlers and preschoolers are certainly welcome! Children with disabilities or learning disabilities are especially vulnerable. In this case, it is very important to approach the situation from different angles and learn to take full advantage of the positive aspects.
